IRVINE, Calif. — The Stanton Lady Elks faced off against the Westcliff Lady Warriors on Sunday evening at Championship Stadium in another chapter of Cal Pac Conference play. Despite a determined effort on their home field, Stanton came up short as Westcliff earned a 3-1 victory.
The result marked an improved showing for the Lady Warriors compared to their previous meeting with Stanton, turning the tables this time around with a composed and clinical performance.
Freshman standout Nachanok Kosonsaksakun provided the lone goal for the Lady Elks, continuing to make her presence felt in her debut season. Stanton created several promising chances throughout the match but couldn't capitalize enough to close the gap.
