-
Isabel Betancor: Betancor showed her range from deep, knocking down two triples to finish with 8 points.
Game Highlights
The Lady Elks found their stride in the second quarter, outscoring the Keelhaulers 22-16. This offensive explosion showed what the team is capable of when they find their flow, cutting into the early lead and keeping the pressure on the home team heading into the half.
Though Cal Maritime's Emily Newton led the way for the hosts with 23 points, the Lady Elks' resilience on the boards—out-rebounding the Keelhaulers 42 to 32—highlights a gritty identity that will serve them well as they continue their season.
