Cohen and Young Dominate In Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ — The Stanton University Lady Elks are currently in Phoenix, Arizona, for a two-game road trip to face Nelson University and conference newcomer Northern New Mexico. In Thursday's opener, the Lady Elks defeated Nelson University-Arizona 64-44, marking the team's second consecutive victory.
Victory in Phoenix
Stanton established control early, holding Nelson to only 4 points in the first quarter. The win builds on the momentum from the team's recent victory over Pacific Union on January 10.
