Elks Close Out Season At Semi Finals
VALLEJO, Calif. — The Stanton University Elks saw their historic first season in the NAIA come to an end on Sunday, falling 73-69 to the top-seeded Simpson University Red Hawks in the California Pacific Conference Championship semifinals. Despite a resilient second-half effort, the Elks were unable to overcome the Red Hawks at the PE & Aquatics Center.
Stanton's Standout Performers
The Elks stayed competitive throughout the contest, led by several players who have anchored the rotation all year:

Alex Stein: Led the team with 15 points, including three 3-pointers and a perfect 4-of-4 performance from the free-throw line.

Jermaine Patton Jr.: Provided scoring off the bench with 13 points and 2 steals in 21 minutes.

Jovanni Tapia: Recorded 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals, nearly missing a double-double.

Duje Srzic: Contributed 12 points and 4 rebounds, shooting 5-of-8 from the field.

Yasuhide Hino: Controlled the glass for the Elks, finishing with 8 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
