Stanton Men's and Women's Senior Night
Celebrating Our Seniors
IRVINE, Calif. — Under a golden Southern California sunset at Great Park, Stanton University took a moment to pause from competition and celebrate the achievements, memories, and legacy of its graduating student-athletes during Senior Night on Sunday evening. The ceremony took place before and during Stanton's match against Pacific Union, as players, coaches, and supporters came together to honor the Class of 2025–2026.
On the women's soccer side, Elle-May Taylor and goalkeeper Maddison Lahargoue were recognized for their dedication and impact on the program. Lahargoue's parents were proudly in attendance, cheering from the stands, while Taylor's family joined from across the Atlantic, watching live from England. Both athletes received heartfelt words from their coaches and teammates—tributes to their leadership, passion, and commitment on and off the field.
For the men's team, Francisco Goncalves, Matteo Sala, Salvado Carruco, Jacob Edwards, and Kael Kortz were celebrated in a touching moment as they walked through a symbolic "valley" formed by their teammates and friends. With most of their families abroad, loved ones tuned in to the live broadcast to share in the occasion from afar.
It was an evening filled with emotion, pride, and gratitude. "These kids are like family to us," the Stanton Athletics staff shared. "We've watched them grow—athletically, academically, and personally. We're proud to have guided them, cared for them, and seen them become the people they are today."
As the seniors took their final bows on home turf, they left behind more than stats and records—they left a foundation. A legacy of effort, excellence, and character that will continue to shape Stanton Athletics for years to come.
Thank you to our seniors and their families—for entrusting us with your journey. Wherever life takes you next, know that you'll always have a home at Stanton.
